How my journey began

Steph is a Stockton, Ca native born in 1992, whose passion for pet care was cultivated in a household where his mother rescued cats and his family owned an Alaskan Malamute and American Bulldog.
Growing up, Steph and his sister actively cared for other cats and later expanded their compassion to include dogs.

In 2017, Steph entered the gig economy as a dog walker, quickly earning a reputation for exceptional care in the East Bay and eventually Silicon Valley when he moved there. In 2021, he left a full time job in vehicle automation and started Becerra Pet Care, a boutique gem known for its reliability and genuine affection for pets.

Beyond pet care, Steph is an enthusiast of music, art, and competitive gaming. Rooted in his upbringing, Becerra Pet Care reflects his lifelong dedication to creating happy, healthy lives for pets and their owners.
